This is an on-site position in Blumenau/SC. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Supervise and carry out bushing and tap changer assembly activities in accordance with production orders; train less experienced assemblers; comply with quality requirements and procedures; and adhere to health, occupational safety, environmental, and integrity standards. * Guide, lead, and train Assemblers B and C in identifying the sequence of assembly operations; properly use machines and equipment on the shop floor; read and interpret technical diagrams/instructions for assembling high-complexity electromechanical components according to the Master Plan, specifications, and applicable principles; and perform the following tasks: operate winding machines, hand tools, and fixtures; clean porcelain; complete process control documentation (e.g., inspection cards, safety inspections); perform services/repairs; set up machines and electrical test equipment; and notify support departments when deviations from specifications occur, in compliance with predefined procedures and the production plan. * Ensure and attest to the quality of bushings and tap changers on assembly lines by performing testing and inspection steps, following work instructions and established procedures, as well as conducting visual inspections and using measuring tools. * Supervise and perform internal movement of components and raw materials—including bushings and tap changers, parts, and/or tooling—used in assembly, operating pallet trucks and/or overhead cranes, in accordance with internal procedures and safety regulations. * Package and pack assembled bushings and tap changers according to required specifications, using appropriate packaging and proper identification. * Train other assemblers and supervise and perform product verification for inventory / resale / imported goods through visual inspection, application of tests, traceability checks, and providing support to involved technical departments. * Record information regarding bushings and tap changers in the production order management system (MTS), and contribute to ensuring assembly quality through predefined checklists and report completion, aligned with respective workstations. * Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Technical course in Mechanics, Electrotechnology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is desirable. * Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies. * Experience in equipment setup and high-complexity electromechanical assembly is required. **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
