Focus on scientific innovation and creativity The multinational **Innospec**, a global leader in chemical specialties with operations in over 22 countries, is seeking a **Development Chemist** to work onsite in the interior of São Paulo. **Job Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field * PhD in Chemistry with emphasis on Organic Synthesis or related area * Active registration with CRQ (Regional Council of Chemistry) * Prior experience in chemical synthesis * Experience in R\&D (laboratory and/or industrial) * Advanced knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) * Experience with national and international standards and regulations * Knowledge of chemical process safety * Advanced proficiency in analytical and instrumental techniques * Experience with instrumentation (DSC, IR, GC, TP, etc.) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Experience with Oracle, PMS, and SAP * Advanced/technical English * 100% onsite **Competencies:** * Planning and execution of chemical syntheses * Development and optimization of processes * Critical interpretation of experimental data * Development and validation of methods * Continuous scientific updating * Scientific innovation and creativity * Basic understanding of patents, confidentiality, and strategic innovation * Multidisciplinary perspective * Ability to prepare scientific and technical documentation * Independent work and creative resolution of complex problems * Good laboratory practices * Autonomy and proactivity * Organization and time management * Clear and effective communication * Teamwork and collaboration **Benefits:** * Transportation from the cities of Cerquilho, Tietê, Jumirim, Pereiras, Maristela, and Laranjal Paulista * On-site cafeteria * Medical insurance * Meal allowance * Life insurance * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Christmas basket * Opportunity for professional growth within a solid and expanding company.
