Focus on safety, health, quality, and sustainability **POSITION SUMMARY** Location: Araras/SP Area / BU: Factory (Chocolate Drinks, Stamping, and Pura Vida) Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager Is there an internal candidate mapped? No **Position Purpose** Supervise production lines in routine activities and standard compliance, responsible for managing and developing operators and assistants. Actively support continuous excellence initiatives in manufacturing with a focus on SDCA and contribute to achieving the Unit’s manufacturing objectives aligned with Nestlé’s Purpose and Values, Quality, and SHE. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities** 01\. Performance Management: Conduct operational performance review meetings, implementation plans, monitor line performance, OMP, and support production execution according to process parameters to develop initiatives that improve business results. * Manage production variances (material, labor, and inventory variances). * Support execution and, if necessary, revision of standards to ensure adherence. * Support the Technical Department in improvements and projects related to operating standards. * Link NCE activities with the evolution of area KPIs/PPIs/APIs to prioritize actions and identify potential deviations in implementations. * Understand and support the production process, raw materials, packaging used in the factory, and technologies to facilitate, collaborate, and enhance the production process. 02\. People Management: * Participate in recruitment and selection processes; conduct terminations, administrative actions, promotions, and performance evaluations to guide employees in alignment with business needs. * Deliver training and coaching to support operations, maintain and optimize performance and environment, and develop competencies to foster autonomy. * Develop a strategic workforce allocation management approach to maximize employee utilization and positioning, and support assistants in preparing work schedules based on employee development and performance. 03\. Safety, Health, Quality, and Sustainability Practices: * Follow, engage, and support the review—when necessary—of Safety, Health, and Sustainability instructions. * Promote accident and incident prevention campaigns to strengthen the preventive SHE culture. * Follow, encourage, and support the review—when necessary—of Quality and Food Safety instructions, supporting routine practices in accordance with legal, internal, and regulatory requirements. **What Will Contribute to Your Success?** Completed Bachelor’s Degree: Food Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or other exact sciences fields. Minimum one year of prior experience in team leadership, production management systems, factory operations, or support functions within industrial settings is desired. Intermediate English proficiency will be considered a plus.
