They are responsible for supplier negotiations, cost and margin control, as well as monitoring performance indicators and purchase planning. **Responsibilities and duties** * Plan, negotiate, and carry out merchandise purchases, ensuring competitiveness and product availability, payment terms, according to authority levels and premises defined by the Commercial Management; * Set pricing for merchandise within their category; * Control inventory levels and supply flow; * Carry out promotional activities, negotiate flyers, marketing campaigns, and commercial investments; * Suggest changes to the product mix; * Develop new suppliers, manage contracts, and analyze market trends; * Monitor performance indicators, sales evolution, margins, and competitiveness. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education:** High School Diploma completed; **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in purchasing/supply chain roles within the retail and/or wholesale segment. **Behavioral/technical skills:** * Strong negotiation skills for purchasing and promotional activities with suppliers; * Dissatisfaction with prices, constantly seeking the best commercial conditions and negotiating to pay the lowest possible price without compromising quality; * Analytical ability to interpret performance indicators and make data-driven decisions; * Organizational and planning skills to manage tasks and execute them productively and efficiently; * Strategic market vision for pricing, promotional activities, and building a competitive assortment; * Proficiency in analytical tools, especially intermediate or advanced level Excel; * Ability to manage contracts and maintain ethical and effective relationships with suppliers; * Handle confidential information responsibly and ethically, respecting access limits and confidentiality, as strategic data can directly impact company results. **Will be an advantage:** * Completed higher education in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Commercial Management, or related fields. * Skills with BI tools and market analysis. **Additional information** Welcoming, collaborative work environment full of opportunities; Market-competitive salary; Co-payment Health Plan; Dental Plan \- 100% covered by the company; Transportation allowance / expense subsidy; Monthly attendance bonus; Annual tenure bonus; **This is our \#PoupeRealWay:** **Our Mission:** We don't want to be just a supermarket.
