LOGISTICS ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for managing, planning, and monitoring logistics operations, ensuring optimization of transportation, warehousing, and goods distribution processes, with a focus on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and on-time delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES* * Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics activities, including transportation, receiving, warehousing, and product distribution. * Coordinate route planning and delivery monitoring to improve transportation efficiency. * Monitor transportation scheduling and route planning, ensuring vehicles operate as planned. * Support product dispatch, guaranteeing orders are prepared and shipped according to specifications and established deadlines. * Collect and analyze data related to logistics operations to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. * Analyze logistics performance indicators and propose improvement actions. * Prepare reports and documentation required to support decision-making and logistics performance indicator tracking. * Perform administrative tasks related to logistics, such as updating records, maintaining files, and communicating with suppliers and customers. * Assist in managing contracts and documentation required for logistics operations. * Monitor inventory levels, ensuring data accuracy and inventory control. * Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure optimal delivery timelines and cost conditions. * Collaborate with other members of the logistics team and related departments to ensure uninterrupted operational flow. * Ensure logistics operations comply with safety standards and legal regulations. Participate in team meetings and provide support as needed to achieve departmental goals. * REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation; * Familiarity and experience with management and control tools (ERP, TMS, WMS); * Transportation legislation and regulatory standards; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word). Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Production Engineering, or related fields.
