Responsibilities include pre\-preparation of ingredients (peeling, cutting, washing), performing basic culinary tasks under supervision, organizing and sanitizing the environment and equipment, inventory control, plating dishes, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Key Tasks and Responsibilities * **Food Pre\-Preparation**: Wash, peel, cut, and chop ingredients to prepare them for use in recipes. * **Workplace Organization**: Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized, including utensils, equipment, and work areas. * **Kitchen Support**: Assist the cook with basic cooking techniques and dish assembly, following instructions and menu requirements. * **Safety and Hygiene**: Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed, such as proper food handling and temperature monitoring. * **General Cleaning**: Clean floors, equipment, cabinets, and other kitchen areas to maintain a safe and clean environment.
