Job Summary: The Quality Coordinator will lead and ensure the execution of Quality Management System activities in PVD/PACVD processes, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the Quality Management System in PVD/PACVD processes 2. Promote continuous improvement using Lean, PDCA, and other methodologies 3. Manage and develop the quality team A French multinational company specializing in thermal treatment. **Responsibilities and Duties** Mission The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for leading and ensuring the execution of Quality Management System-related activities in PVD/PACVD coating production processes, ensuring technical compliance, adherence to internal standards, and rigorous monitoring of performance indicators. This role involves supervising laboratory analyses, applying quality tools, and promoting continuous process improvement, aligned with IATF 16949 guidelines and Work Instructions (IMO) issued by the parent company in France. Activities Coordinate and maintain the Quality Management System in PVD/PACVD processes, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and internal requirements. Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators, implementing corrective action plans when necessary. Ensure compliance with quality tools and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) applied in daily production. Supervise laboratory analyses and verification tests of product characteristics, ensuring conformity to specifications. Validate test reports, technical reports, and quality records. Track deviations, non-conformities, and issues raised by internal and external customers. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in PVD/PACVD processes using Lean, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and other tools. Identify optimization opportunities in processes and promote standardization. Translate, update, and implement work instructions. Ensure that standards defined by the parent company are correctly implemented and replicated across the team. Manage and develop the quality team. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Quality, Chemistry, or related fields. Proficiency in quality tools and problem-solving methodologies. Ability to read, interpret, and draft technical instructions. Critical analysis skills, decision-making capability, and performance indicator management. Experience in team leadership. **Additional Information** Familiarity with industrial processes; knowledge of PVD/PACVD processes is a plus. Intermediate English (advanced level is a plus) — frequent interaction with work instructions and guidelines from the parent company in France.
