




Job Summary: Lead continuous and industrial improvement projects in extrusion, acting as a technical reference and optimizing processes with a focus on materials and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership of Engineering and continuous improvement projects in extrusion. 2. Technical support for extruder and peripheral equipment operations. 3. The Engineering and Continuous Improvement area’s mission is to transform losses identified by WCM into structured, focused improvement projects, while also developing and standardizing new work methods. Its objective is to continuously elevate the performance level and results of the Rio Claro unit’s Manufacturing areas. The Extrusion Processes Specialist position is responsible for leading continuous improvement projects in the Extrusion area and industrial projects related to machine and peripheral equipment installation and start-up, with emphasis on changes and optimizations involving materials, extruders, and peripherals. The role serves as a technical reference for extrusion technicians and PMPE in decision-making, interfaces with corporate-area specialists, identifies process optimization opportunities, and ensures governance of operational procedures and standards. Its mission is to support the pillars of the Transformar Program (WCM): Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Professional Maintenance (MP), Focused Improvement (FI), and Projects. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead Engineering and continuous improvement projects in extrusion processes. * Provide technical support for extruder and peripheral equipment operations. * Diagnose and resolve process quality and productivity issues. * Propose and implement improvements, as well as new engineering technologies in extrusion processes, materials, and tools. * Monitor maintenance plans for extruders, dies/tools, and peripheral equipment. * Interface with other departments within the unit, BU, and corporate functions. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. * Proven experience in thermoplastic extrusion processes (e.g., PVC, PP). * Practical experience with extruders, extrusion dies/tools, and peripheral equipment (setup, adjustments, improvements). * Technical knowledge of extrusion line operation and ability to read engineering drawings. * Ability to technically lead projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- * Experience working in an industrial environment applying continuous improvement methodologies (WCM, Lean, or similar). * Knowledge of basic problem analysis and resolution tools (PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). * Experience resolving process and quality issues in extrusion. **Additional Information** **Work Location**: Rio Claro \- São Paulo **We care about the well-being of our Feras and offer benefits such as:** * Meal allowance; * Year-end bonus; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Wellhub (formerly Gympass); * Birthday day off; * Citizen company: extended maternity and paternity leave. * Discount on our products; * Annual bonus (profit sharing); * Up to 50% discount on medications; * Health programs.
