Work location: Itajaí, Santa Catarina **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform mechanical assembly of machinery and equipment according to predefined procedures; * Align equipment in accordance with specifications; * Apply torque for securing equipment as per guided or written procedures; * Assist in testing onboard equipment and systems; * Read and interpret manufacturers’ installation drawings and mechanical systems diagrams to carry out assigned tasks; * Operate equipment and machinery to support execution of assigned activities; * Ensure individual and collective safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment and monitoring for potential occupational safety hazards within the work area; * Safeguard, maintain, and clean tools, equipment, and materials used, as well as keep the workplace clean; * Carry out other related and inherent duties as required or at the discretion of the supervisor. **Requirements and qualifications** **Minimum education:** Completed elementary school **Desired education:** Technical qualification in Mechanics equivalent to secondary level **Essential technical competencies:** Knowledge of naval mechanics **Desired technical competencies:** Ability to handle measuring instruments; ability to move equipment onboard vessels. **Additional information** **Benefits:** Meal allowance; Attendance bonus; Christmas bonus; Transportation allowance; On-site cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch; UNIMED health insurance covering legal dependents.
