Job Summary: Project Leader responsible for managing the full program lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective communication with customers, focusing on delivering automotive projects on quality and schedule. Key Highlights: 1. Full program management, from acquisition to start of production. 2. Leadership of cross-functional teams and professional communication with customers. 3. Coordination of automotive projects, with focus on APQP and PPAP. **PROJECT LEADER (LICAV Unit – Limeira/SP)** * Program management during acquisition and development; * Coordination of cross-functional teams across all company areas: process development, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and procurement; * Regular reporting on project status and maturity to the Engineering Manager and Plant Manager; * Leading project launch and production meetings (APQP), and documenting project transfer to the plant and mutual customer approval via PPAP; * Developing the overall program schedule from customer request to start of production (RFQ\-SOP) and managing it until the start-of-production meeting based on customer milestones and due dates (Milestone); * Professional communication with the customer and within the project team. Customer interface for procurement and development/engineering; * Ensuring the LICAV project team fully understands specific customer requirements; * Acting as the primary interface between LICAV departments for product- and customer-specific requirements until the initial production meeting; * Serving as the main point of contact for the customer regarding sample deliveries throughout the entire project; * Controlling and reporting APQP status to the Engineering Manager and the entire program team until the initial production meeting; * Responsible for coordinating the timely completion of all deliverables up to the initial production meeting and handover of the project to mass production; * Responsible for coordinating achievement of project targets related to time, quality, and target costs; * Timely definition of tasks and corrective actions, and control of their on-time completion (project risk management); * Compliance with internal ISO/TS\-16949 and LICAV procedures (Internal Project Management Procedures). **Desirable knowledge in:** * PMBOK; * SCRUM; * 8D or MASP; * Ms Project. Requirements and Qualifications: **Required:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; * Knowledge of tooling and fixture construction; * Experience in a related role, preferably in the automotive industry; * APQP; * Advanced Excel; * Intermediate English.
