We are a French multinational company delivering multidisciplinary solutions in Energy, Infrastructure, and Industry. We possess extensive technical capabilities to intervene end-to-end across the entire lifecycle of industrial facilities, with a strong commitment to **innovation**, **technology**, and **sustainability**. SNEF takes pride in being an organization that values equality and diversity. Our job openings are inclusive, without distinction based on race, color, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, disabilities, social class, or age. We look forward to welcoming you to our team! **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering. **Responsibilities:** **I. Technical Leadership and Validation of Deliverables** * **Critical Review of Documentation:** Lead the review and approval of key Process Engineering documents for detailed engineering, including: * + **Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).** + **Datasheets for Static and Rotating Equipment, Control Valves, and Relief Valves (PSV/PRV).** + **System Relief and Depressurization Analyses (Blowdown/Flare System Design).** + **Specifications for Chemical Systems and Utilities (e.g., Fuel Gas, Cooling Water).** * **Optimization and Design Review:** Actively participate in **HAZOP, SIL/LOPA**, and Design Review meetings to identify and mitigate operational and safety risks. * **Process Calculations:** Perform and/or audit complex calculations, such as mass and energy balances, pipeline sizing, vessel and heat exchanger sizing, and thermodynamic simulations. * **Change Management:** Manage and document scope changes (Management of Change – MOC) related to processes during the detailed engineering phase. **II. Collaboration and Interface** * **Multidisciplinary Interface:** Collaborate closely with teams in Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil Engineering to ensure process system layouts and interconnections are feasible, safe, and efficient. * **Procurement Support:** Provide technical support to the Procurement team in evaluating technical proposals from suppliers of critical equipment. * **Client/Regulatory Agency Interaction:** Present and defend process technical solutions to clients and/or regulatory agencies (as required). **III. Standards and Quality** * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all process projects strictly comply with applicable National and International standards for the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry (e.g., API RP, ASME B31.3, NRs, DNV/ABS). * **Standardization:** Promote standardization of methodologies and documentation to enhance efficiency and quality in Process deliverables. **Requirements:** * Experience in Process Engineering and/or as a Process Engineer, directly involved in Detailed Engineering projects for Oil & Gas facilities (e.g., FPSOs, Refineries, Terminals, or Petrochemical Plants). * Proficiency in interpreting and generating P&IDs and PFDs. * Solid knowledge of Process Safety Systems (e.g., PSV sizing, Flare/Blowdown). * Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, ASPEN Plus, or PRO/II). * Fluency in English. * Methodical approach and zero tolerance for safety and quality deviations. * Ability to negotiate complex technical solutions and manage expectations among disciplines and clients. * Capacity to work under tight deadlines and in dynamic project environments typical of the detailed engineering phase. **Desirable:** * Active registration with CREA/CRQ. * In-depth knowledge of major O&G operators’ specifications. * Prior experience in FEED phase or in Commissioning/Startup of plants.
