Job Summary: We are seeking an Expert Planning Engineer to structure, critically analyze, and control engineering projects for biomethane, ensuring predictability and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Technical reference in project structuring and critical analysis 2. Focus on technical assurance of schedules and physical-financial control 3. Involvement in innovation and sustainability in biomethane production Established in 1999, ORIZON VALORIZAÇÃO DE RESÍDUOS S.A. is a reference in integrated waste management and recovery solutions—from recycling to biogas, biomethane, and electricity generation. Our ecoparks serve as the final environmental protection barrier, mitigating CO2 emissions and ensuring proper waste disposal. With the purpose of delivering sustainability and innovation, we seek an Expert Planning Engineer to join our biomethane engineering team. This professional will serve as the technical reference for project structuring, critical analysis, and integrated control, ensuring rigorous application of management methodologies (FEL, AWP, PMBOK) to guarantee investment predictability and efficiency. The Challenge The Planning Specialist will act as the high-performance analytical arm of the portfolio. Unlike coordination roles, the focus is not on administrative people management but rather on technical schedule assurance, advanced physical-financial control, and scenario modeling to support executive decision-making. You will be responsible for "translating" project complexity into clear, actionable data. **Responsibilities and Duties** Technical Planning and Control: * Develop and maintain highly complex integrated schedules (Masterplan and Detailed), ensuring logical sequencing, critical path analysis, and resource leveling. * Conduct forensic schedule analyses to identify deviations, root causes of delays, and propose technically viable recovery plans (catch-up plans). * Monitor physical-financial progress (S-curve), ensuring correct correlation between engineering progress, procurement, and construction (EPC) with financial disbursement (Cash Flow). Methodology and Governance: * Ensure application of FEL (Front-End Loading) and AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) methodologies during project structuring, elevating planning maturity. * Perform quantitative and qualitative risk management, modeling schedule and cost impacts and controlling contingency reserves. * Standardize WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and progress measurement criteria in accordance with PMO guidelines. Intelligence and Reporting: * Develop and maintain automated Executive Dashboards (Power BI) for KPI monitoring (SPI, CPI, IDP, IDC), delivering proactive—not merely reactive—*insights*. * Support coordination and executive leadership in developing Capex scenarios for portfolio approvals (Gate Reviews). * Serve as technical mentor to analysts and junior/mid-level planners, disseminating best practices in tool usage and concepts of cost and schedule engineering. **Requirements and Qualifications** Academic Background: * Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields). * Preferred: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Cost Engineering, Project Management, or Strategic Planning. Professional Experience: * Solid experience (5+ years) in capital project (CAPEX) planning within industrial sectors (Energy, Oil & Gas, Sanitation, Infrastructure, or Mining). * Proven experience in multidisciplinary projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning), preferably under EPC or EPCM contracts. * Practical experience applying FEL methodology (FEL 1, 2, and 3 phases) and gate reviews. Technical Skills (Hard Skills): * Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project (mandatory: baseline, resource, and cost management). * Advanced Excel/VBA for modeling complex data. * Power BI: Ability to create and maintain managerial dashboards and manipulate data (DAX/M). * In-depth knowledge of PMBOK and AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) practices. * Knowledge of contract management (claims, amendments, and progress measurements). Behavioral Skills (Soft Skills): * Critical Analytical Profile: Ability to question information, validate field data, and detect inconsistencies in planning. * Assertive Technical Communication: Skill in translating complex schedule-related technical issues into executive language. * Ownership Mindset and Autonomy: Ability to conduct control routines without constant supervision. * Resilience: Capacity to work under challenging deadlines and reprioritize tasks in dynamic environments. **Additional Information** Health insurance Dental insurance Gym allowance Pharmacy allowance Christmas basket Life insurance Meal voucher Transportation voucher #### **Transformation is part of human essence.** #### **Every evolutionary process is driven by change.
