Perishables Assistant (Bakery)

Description

**Job Description:** The Perishables Assistant (Bakery) is responsible for: * Serving customers personally at the counter; * Displaying products on the counter and tables according to the standard layout; * Using the FIFO system (First-In, First-Out); * Identifying and pricing products; * Monitoring expiration dates; * Removing from the sales area any products unfit for consumption; * Sorting and recording losses, preventing stockouts in the sales area; * Reporting to supervisors products with low turnover or approaching expiration; * Keeping the sales area, equipment, and utensils clean, hygienic, and organized to prevent cross-contamination; * Participating in training sessions, meetings, and inventories; * Performing other duties and procedures related to this position and department; **Our expectations for this professional:** * Delivering excellence in service to both internal and external customers to ensure their satisfaction; * Providing standardized service in accordance with **\"The Zomper Way of Serving\"** (courtesy, friendliness, patience, etc.); * Practicing our core values daily: **Serving Humanity, Humility, Emotional Balance, Execution, Attention to Detail, Commitment, Knowledge**; * Demonstrating owner’s mindset; * Thinking outside the box—i.e., being open to new learning opportunities and professional growth. **Essential Requirements:** * Genuine pleasure and satisfaction in working with people; * Availability to work night shifts, holidays, and weekends; * High school diploma; Join our family!
