Your objective will be to ensure uninterrupted supply to operations—minimizing both stockouts that disrupt production and excess inventory that ties up working capital. **Optimization and Continuous Improvement:** Lead and actively participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at developing and implementing solutions that enhance the efficiency of materials planning and management processes. This includes optimizing workflows, introducing new technologies, and standardizing procedures. **Cross-Departmental Collaboration:** Actively participate in the company’s integrated planning cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Production. Your role will be crucial in aligning demand forecasts with production and logistics capabilities. **Monitoring and Proactive Action:** Establish and rigorously monitor departmental KPIs—including lead time, material coverage, inventory accuracy, and stockout rate. You will be responsible for proactively identifying deviations in these metrics, investigating root causes, and proposing corrective actions or improvements that deliver tangible value to planning and management processes. **Risk Management and Business Continuity:** Develop and implement contingency plans and effective strategies to mitigate potential risks—such as logistical constraints, supplier capacity fluctuations, or unforeseen events. Your ability to anticipate issues and act proactively will be essential to ensuring operational continuity and business resilience. **Integrated Systems and Data:** Ensure all planning and data management systems are properly integrated and up-to-date, providing the necessary technological foundation to support an integrated and efficient planning process. **Supply and Production Management:** Monitor production levels and jointly plan, with the responsible department, equipment maintenance and shutdowns to minimize impact. Plan and monitor production, defining volume, deadlines, and allocating required resources for process execution. Plan and control material procurement, adhering to inventory policies and ABC classification, aiming to optimize inventory levels and improve cash flow. **Supplier Relationship Management:** Maintain regular and constructive contact with suppliers to ensure strict adherence to pre-established delivery schedules for stocked materials.
