Opportunity for learning and growth in the field Job Description: **Automotive Mechanic Assistant** **We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic Assistant for Americana:** **Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Assisting in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of vehicles; * Assisting in assembling brake, suspension, clutch, fuel injection, electronic, air conditioning cleaning/maintenance, and repair systems; * Assisting in mounting tires, timing belts, clutches, spark plugs, exhaust systems, pivots, routine maintenance (oil and filter changes), electronic fuel injection, and leak repairs; * Assisting with scanner diagnostics and other tasks as requested or per scheduled maintenance plans; * Assisting in inspecting and testing parts and assemblies before installing them on vehicles; * Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Willingness to learn and grow within the field.
