Models—being simplifications of reality—are subject to risks that may trigger losses related to decisions based on inaccurate or outdated estimates, or inappropriate usage. To identify and mitigate these risks, the Independent Model Validation (IMV) area actively strengthens model usage by promoting cultural alignment and disseminating best practices in modeling.
