Maintenance Assistant
**Maintenance Assistant (Chemical Toilets)** **Responsibilities:** The Maintenance professional at **Liderban** primarily ensures that chemical toilets are in **perfect working condition** upon completion of repair/maintenance services, meeting quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with our internal and external clients located in the Conceição do Mato Dentro region (e.g., Anglo American and its third-party contractors, among others). **MUST RESIDE IN CONCEIÇÃO DO MATO DENTRO AND HAVE EASY ACCESS TO THE CÓRREGO PEREIRA NEIGHBORHOOD.** * Inspect the overall condition of the cabin, checking for damage, cracks, door/lock issues, and leaks. * **Basic Repairs:** Perform minor on-site adjustments and repairs, such as tightening hinges, fixing door latches, or replacing simple components (e.g., springs, handles). * **Inventory Management:** Maintain a small stock of replacement parts and supplies in the service vehicle/worksite. * **Communication:** Interact courteously and professionally with the client’s point of contact (e.g., site or event supervisor) to report service completion or any issues encountered. * **Reporting:** Complete Service Orders (SOs) or checklists (paper-based or digital) after each service, confirming cleaning quality, replenished supplies, and any problems identified or resolved. * **Tools used include:** Screwdriver set (flat-head and Phillips), pliers (universal and compression), adjustable wrench (or monkey wrench), manual or automatic riveter, cordless drill/driver, tape measure, and other tools commonly used in the maintenance department.
