Execute, analyze, and close the company's tax routines, ensuring accurate tax calculation, compliance with ancillary obligations, and alignment of processes with current legislation. The Tax Analyst is responsible for verifying the posting of tax documents—including their accounting classification—tax calculation, tax classifications, submission of declarations, accounting reconciliation of taxes, internal support, and tax regularization with competent authorities. The professional is expected to work in an organized, analytical, and autonomous manner, ensuring technical accuracy, data integrity, and support to internal departments, receiving guidance from management when necessary. **Education and Experience** * Bachelor's degree in **Accounting Sciences**, completed. * Postgraduate studies in taxation—**desirable**. * Minimum of 3 **years** of experience in tax routines. **Technical Skills (Hard Skills)** * Advanced knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation. * Proficiency in calculating ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, and withheld taxes. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, eSocial, DCTF, etc.). * Proficiency in Excel for analysis, tables, and reconciliations. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * ERP experience (SAP B1 preferred). * Ability to interpret tax documents and validate tax classifications (NCM, CST, CFOP). **Behavioral Profile (Soft Skills)** * **Attention to Detail:** Rigorous tax control and high precision in data entry. * **Organization and Execution:** Analytical, disciplined, and structured profile suited for closing routines. * **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong communication and ability to support internal departments. * **Proactivity and Responsibility:** Ability to identify inconsistencies and implement preventive corrections. * **Focus:** Systemic vision, planning, and results-oriented approach. **Key Responsibilities and Activities** **1\. Tax Recording and Control** * Review input and output movements, analyzing taxes and fiscal and accounting classifications. * Post incoming invoices into the ERP, validating data, taxes, and suppliers. * Correct fiscal and accounting entries whenever necessary. * Organize fiscal and accounting documentation (digital and physical). * Prepare controls and store XML invoice files. **2\. Tax Calculation and Monthly Closings** * Calculate municipal, state, and federal taxes (ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, etc.). * Calculate and monitor withheld taxes and payments. * Perform monthly fiscal and accounting closings. * Prepare and maintain updated fiscal ledgers. * Prepare objection and debt review procedures when necessary; **3\. Ancillary Obligations** * Prepare and submit SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, eSocial, and other obligations required by tax authorities. * Prepare calculation summaries and reports. * Conduct preventive consistency checks before submission to competent authorities. **4\. Fiscal Classification and Technical Analysis** * Determine fiscal classification of products and services (NCM / Annex / CNAE). * Analyze supplier and customer registration data. * Validate tax regimes and applicable fiscal rules. * Assist in system configuration; * Monitor changes in tax legislation and inform management of those impacting the company; **5\. Internal Relationship and Support** * Respond to internal requests (Procurement, Finance, Sales, Accounting). * Create, send, and present tax reports upon request. * Provide tax guidance to other departments. **6\. Regularization and Interaction with Public Authorities** * Monitor the company’s current account; * Resolve pending tax matters with municipal governments, SEFAZ, and the Federal Revenue Service. * Update certificates. * Support internal and external audits.
