Accident investigation and proposal of improvements **Occupational Safety Technician** **Summary:** Promote occupational health and safety through accident prevention, risk control, and dissemination of safety culture. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct safety inspections in operational and administrative areas, identifying hazards and implementing preventive actions. * Develop and maintain up-to-date legal documents and occupational health and safety programs. * Conduct training sessions, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and safety awareness activities on regulations and safe practices. * Investigate accidents and incidents, proposing corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence. * Monitor compliance with safety regulations, environmental conditions, machinery, equipment, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Issue and manage Work Permits for critical activities, ensuring safe execution conditions. * Monitor health and safety indicators, prepare reports, and propose process improvements. * Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements. * Supervise third-party companies and participate in campaigns and programs focused on health, safety, and prevention. * Perform other related duties as directed by management. **Education:** * Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety **Experience:** * Prior experience in occupational safety within industrial environments, preferably in mining or heavy construction. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Active registration with the Regional Council (MTE) * Driver's License Category B **Technical Competencies:** * Interpretation of regulatory standards * Preparation of technical reports * Accident investigation * PPE management * Risk analysis * Training delivery **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail * Proactivity * Assertive communication * Discipline * Sense of responsibility * Influence * Preventive attitude Join our team: visit our job openings page Grupo Sollo and apply!
