Monitoring of safety regulations (NR-22) and best practices **Mining Technician** **Summary:** Carry out and monitor technical mining activities including excavation, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and mineral quality control, ensuring that mining operations comply with the company’s and applicable legislation’s established standards for safety, productivity, and environmental compliance. **Responsibilities:** * 1\. Monitor daily mining operations (drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling), verifying adherence to the mining plan and defined technical parameters to ensure achievement of targets and operational safety. 2\. Collect and record daily production and performance data (mined volumes, explosive consumption, cycle times, equipment availability) to feed reports and control indicators. 3\. Assist the mining engineer weekly in monitoring the mining plan, proposing adjustments to working faces and bench sequencing to optimize ore recovery and minimize costs. 4\. Continuously inspect geotechnical conditions of working faces and slopes, reporting deviations and potential risks to prevent landslides and ensure stability. 5\. Conduct daily field measurements (volumes, elevations, distances) using surveying instruments and GPS for updating maps and volumetric mining control. 6\. Control weekly use and storage of explosives and accessories, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulations issued by the Brazilian Army and the National Mining Agency (ANM). 7\. Periodically participate in environmental inspections and internal audits, verifying compliance with environmental control and rehabilitation plans. 8\. Issue consolidated monthly technical reports on mining, productivity, and safety to support managerial decision-making and production planning. 9\.
