To support this mission, Syngenta’s Research Site is seeking a Seed Processing Manager in Porto Nacional/TO. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing routine team activities within the seed processing area for soybean and corn crops, identifying efficiencies and opportunities. You will map and improve processes related to conditioning, processing, storage, and assembly of planting kits for internal and external trials, managing resources and people to meet targets with high quality and on schedule. **Responsibilities:** * Plan structure and resources for end-to-end genetic and experimental seed processing (receiving, drying, conditioning, inventory, counting, internal and external planting kit assembly, and seed storage). * Ensure implementation and adherence to procedures, instructions, standards, and critical control points affecting seed quality across the entire production chain. * Assign tasks, train, develop skills, and instruct FTE employees. * Ensure creation of the operational schedule and communicate it clearly to teams to meet deadlines and quality requirements. * Ensure data generation throughout all processes, creation of dashboards and KPIs, and data-driven decision-making. * Ensure full compliance and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Compliance, and all other company policies. * Review and validate SOPs and JSAs for key operational activities; * Drive or lead regional initiatives or projects aimed at process improvement. * Prioritize team development; provide meaningful performance feedback; support PDI development and individual growth based on career aspirations; act as a leader and coach, sharing work experiences closely tied to both business and personal development. * Responsible for operational budget management, working with key accounts for Seeds Processing activities; accountable for the cost center and annual target review. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related fields; * Required experience in seed processing; * Required experience in people leadership, operational planning, and budget management; * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Desired:** * Postgraduate degree, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field; * Skills in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.); * Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma; * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** **What We Offer** * A culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion, promotes professional development, and seeks a balance between professional and personal life to support team members.
