A professional responsible for building, installing, and repairing masonry structures, interpreting drawings, and ensuring correct execution of construction work.

Your Responsibilities:
● Receive instructions from supervisors regarding tasks to be performed;
● Read and interpret architectural drawings to ensure work is carried out according to specifications;
● Perform site layout and leveling in accordance with the Site Foreman's instructions;
● Calculate required material quantities for a project and place supply orders as needed;
● Use a variety of manual and electric tools—such as shovels, trowels, levels, and concrete mixers—to perform your work;
● Build, install, and repair masonry structures—including walls, foundations, columns, and retaining walls;
● Lay bricks, blocks, ceramic tiles, glazed tiles, and other construction materials, ensuring proper leveling and alignment;
● Lay bricks, blocks (in general), and stone in masonry works;
● Apply finishes to masonry and concrete floors, walls, and ceilings;
● Lay ceramic tiles and glazed tiles;
● Prepare concrete according to specified mix ratios;
● Install embedded piping of any type;
● Install reinforcing steel in formwork under the rebar worker’s guidance;
● Read and interpret construction drawings;
● Prepare special waterproofing mortars;
● Lay exposed bricks;
● Perform grouting in masonry;
● Repair existing structures—including cracks, holes, and other damage;
● Carry out masonry construction or general repair works;
● Apply wall finishes on masonry walls;
● Lay cobblestones, including finishing elements such as curbs, sewer boxes, etc.;
● Report any incidents occurring on-site to supervisors;
● Strictly comply with safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment;
● Provide general support services on Sundays, holidays, and festive days, as scheduled;
● Comply with occupational safety recommendations;
● Perform high-altitude work using scaffolding and safety equipment for general building maintenance activities;
● Provide services at events as scheduled;
● Perform duties related to this position.
Requirements:
Elementary education
Knowledge of mortar and concrete mixing
Proven experience in this role.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Starting salary: R$2788.69 (after gaining experience, adjusted to R$2957.45\)
