Budget and Cost Assistant Position Description:
We are seeking a **Budget and Cost Assistant** to serve as a key contributor in building competitive commercial proposals.
This professional will analyze project specifications for **signage panels, wayfinding systems, dimensional letters, and façades**, transforming complex ideas into accurate cost calculations.

Responsibilities:
The Budget and Cost Assistant’s primary mission is to ensure financial accuracy in proposals, directly contributing to the realization of new business opportunities:
* **Project Analysis:** Conduct detailed analysis of technical specifications, briefings, and surveys provided by clients to identify all required materials and services.
* **Cost Calculation:** Perform meticulous calculation of direct costs (raw materials, supplies, production labor, design) and indirect costs (logistics, installation, transportation, taxes).
* **Supplier Quotation and Negotiation:** Assist in requesting quotations from material suppliers and service providers (third parties), and support negotiations to optimize costs.
* **Proposal Development:** Prepare comprehensive, clear, and competitive commercial proposals, applying profit margins defined by management and formatting final documents for client presentation.
* **Data and Spreadsheet Management:** Utilize and maintain **advanced spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)** for recording, tracking, and analyzing pricing, standard costs, and project profitability.
* **Client Communication:** Maintain contact with clients via email and telephone to clarify budget-related questions and collect additional project information.
Requirements and Essential Skills:
* **Education:** Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, Commercial Management, Logistics, or related fields with strong emphasis on calculation and management. **Accounting degrees are not required.**
* **Analytical Skill:** **Strong aptitude for Mathematics and logical reasoning**, essential for working with formulas, data, and unit conversions.
* **Spreadsheet Proficiency:** **Advanced proficiency and fluency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets** (including functions such as VLOOKUP, IF, pivot tables, etc.).
* **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear proposals and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
* **Material Knowledge:** Familiarity with—or eagerness to learn about—typical Visual Communication materials (acrylic, PVC, vinyl, ACM, LED lighting, etc.) and production processes (cutting, printing, welding).
* Prior experience in quotation, procurement, or budgeting.
* Strong organizational skills and focus on deadlines.
