To check your application status, please log in using your candidate credentials on our careers page, as it will reflect any updates.** **Responsibilities/Profile:** * Develop packaging methods for incoming parts, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient transportation throughout the entire logistics flow * Engage with domestic and international suppliers to address packaging-related safety and quality issues, establishing action plans with permanent solutions * Develop, calculate, and monitor procurement processes for new packaging to meet logistics flow requirements * Define and map logistics flows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste * Measure and evaluate logistics process times * Specify mobile equipment used in logistics processes * Develop and control Standard Work documentation for logistics processes * Create logistics performance indicators and reports, and suggest improvements to optimize Safety, Quality, and Operational Efficiency * Lead Continuous Improvement projects (e.g., packaging optimization, freight cost reduction, flow, material handling, storage, etc.) **Skills:** **Organization:** Ability to structure information, prioritize tasks, and maintain well-documented processes, ensuring clarity and predictability in logistics routines. **Strong Communication:** Clarity and conciseness when conveying information—whether in reports, meetings, or operational alignments—to ensure shared understanding among all stakeholders. **Interpersonal Skills:** Ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and partners, building collaborative relationships that support smooth operations. **Deadline Management:** Ability to plan and execute tasks within defined timelines while maintaining quality—even under high-demand or rapidly changing conditions. **Sense of Urgency:** Ability to quickly identify critical situations and proactively act to prevent operational impact, maintaining focus on resolution. **Basic Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree program underway, minimum 50% completed * **Language:** Intermediate English **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree * **Language:** Upper-intermediate English * Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency * Green Belt certification * Power BI and Power Apps experience * AutoCAD proficiency *Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days per week.* **Interested in this challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
