We are looking for an **Electrical Engineer** to join our Water and Energy Unit.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering (electrical projects);
* Proven experience in auxiliary electrical services projects;
* Knowledge of AC and DC systems for power plants, substations, or industrial facilities;
* Experience in developing electrical studies and technical specifications;
* Proficiency in electrical calculation and simulation software.
* Competence in drafting technical specifications and data sheets for electromechanical equipment, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
* Analytical capability and systemic vision;
* Organization and attention to detail;
* Excellent technical writing skills;
* Proactivity and autonomy;
* Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams;
* Strong communication skills with clients and suppliers.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* Develop electrical projects and studies related to hydropower plants, substations, transmission lines, and large-scale industrial installations.
* Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and reviewing electrical engineering studies, with emphasis on AC and DC auxiliary services.
* Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed designs for AC and DC auxiliary services;
* Size AC and DC systems, including: (Battery banks; Battery chargers; Distribution panels; MCCs; Main distribution boards; Transformers; Emergency generators)
* Perform load flow, short-circuit, power flow, protection coordination, and selectivity studies;
* Knowledge of electrical installation materials;
* Prepare technical specifications for procurement of electrical equipment;
* Develop descriptive memoranda, design criteria, and technical reports;
* Review manufacturer documentation and participate in technical meetings with clients and suppliers;
* Support grid interconnection processes and integration studies with the National Interconnected System (SIN);
* Ensure compliance with ABNT, IEC, IEEE, NR-10, and ONS Grid Procedures.
