Responsibilities: **The Opportunity**
* Responsible for executing and controlling routine Quality laboratory activities to meet Food Quality and Safety requirements within the budgeted expense limits. Perform mandatory procedures for product release and material analyses.
* Provide technical\-analytical support to the Motor.
* Ensure compliance with the Food Quality and Safety Policy.
* Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health, and Environment Policy.
**Your Impact**
**Quality Technician Responsibilities \- Process Facilitators*** Be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Good Laboratory Practices \- GLP program.
* Perform and support the Motor in raw material and finished product analyses.
* Monitor Quality qualifications and procedures.
* Be responsible for preparing culture media for incubation, material sterilization processes, interpretation of microbial counts (CFU), and compilation of results.
* Be responsible for addressing non\-conformities related to out\-of\-specification analyses for materials.
* Inspect and perform cleaning of laboratory equipment.
* Inspect and perform cleaning of *online* measurement equipment (MM55/FL710\).
* Prepare and standardize chemical solutions used in analyses.
* Purchase and manage inventory of chemical products, laboratory supplies, office supplies, and cleaning supplies.
* Control departmental expenses (budget).
* Monitor plant pest control activities.
* Purchase and send laboratory equipment for maintenance.
* Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly controlled chemical product reports from the plant to the Federal and Military Police.
