Job Summary: Assist in hospital account auditing, verifying charges and analyzing compatibility of procedures and medications. Key Highlights: 1. Interface with billing, nursing, clinical staff, and health insurance providers **AUDIT ASSISTANT \- SANTA CASA HOSPITAL** Position also available for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) **Work Location:** Praça Rui Barbosa, 694 \- Centro, Curitiba \- PR, 80010\-030 **Mandatory Requirements (disqualification applies if not met):** Completed high school education (proof required); Full vaccination schedule (COVID-19, Hepatitis B, MMR, and Adult Diphtheria-Tetanus); Hospital experience in this role is a plus; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ease of use with information systems. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Analyze medical records and clinical documents for account auditing; * Verify hospital billing according to contracts and fee schedules (SIGTAP, TUSS, CBHPM, AMB, Brasíndice, SIMPRO); * Analyze compatibility of procedures, materials, and medications; * Identify and forward zero-value items to the commercial and registration departments; * Identify/solve inconsistencies, discrepancies, and potential improper charges; * Support analysis and appeal of SUS claim denials and payment blocks; * Conduct pre-audits; * Monitor billing submission deadlines per SLA; * Issue control protocols; * Input data for performance indicators and non-conformities; * Promote continuous improvement of activities through process review and personal/professional development; * Request invoices from the OPME department; * Maintain interface with billing, nursing, clinical staff, Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS), and health insurance providers; * Ensure confidentiality and compliance with ethical and legal standards. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:48 PM **Salary:** Category base salary **We Offer:** Meal Voucher (no payroll deduction); Health Insurance; Dental Insurance; Transportation Voucher; Brazil Agreements Card; Pharmacy Agreement; University Agreements; \+Gympass; Maternity Kit / Gestar Bem Program; Daycare Assistance for mothers with children up to 5 years old; Birthday Leave (Day off).
