**We are looking for a Senior Controller Analyst**
This person will monitor the accounting close process and perform activities inherent to the Controller’s Office, ensuring consistency, quality, and reliability of the company’s economic\-financial information. They are responsible for preparing financial statements intended for audit, as well as preparing supporting materials and information, and for drafting and reporting regulatory agency–required reports, ensuring compliance with accounting, regulatory standards and established deadlines.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Monitor and validate the accounting close process, ensuring proper compliance with accounting standards applicable to concessions.
* Monitor and validate the tax close process, ensuring correct application and calculation of direct and indirect taxes in accordance with current legislation.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, and manage relationships with, provide support to, and respond to inquiries from external auditors by supplying necessary information and clarifications.
* Prepare and monitor accounting and management reports (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement), providing reliable, consistent, and commented information to support executive decision-making.
* Prepare and monitor economic\-financial reports required by ANTT, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to submission deadlines.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education/Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
Desirable: 3 years of experience in Controller’s Office, Accounting or related fields;
Desirable: Experience interacting with external auditors;
Desirable: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel.
**Specific Knowledge/Skills:**
Desirable: Familiarity with accounting close processes;
Desirable: Knowledge of current accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and fundamentals of financial statements;
Desirable: Experience preparing financial statements;
Desirable: Familiarity with ERP systems.

Via Araucária is the concessionaire responsible for operating, maintaining, and modernizing Lot 1 of the Paraná State Highway System, covering 473 kilometers of federal and state highways. This stretch includes the North and South bypasses of Curitiba, interconnections among municipalities in the Curitiba Metropolitan Region, and the route between the state capital and Guarapuava in central-southern Paraná, among other road segments.
Over the next 30 years of the concession agreement, Via Araucária commits to investing BRL 7.9 billion in expansion and modernization works across the highway network, plus an additional BRL 5.2 billion for operations. These investments include a variety of improvements such as roadside mechanical medical services, truck driver rest stops, weigh-in-motion systems, and more.
