Job Summary:
An occupational safety technician responsible for ensuring employee safety through preventive measures, inspections, and risk management.

Requirements:
* Technical course in Occupational Safety;
* Valid Class B driver's license;
* Knowledge of NR-32 will be considered a plus;
* Knowledge of SOC will be considered a plus.
Description:
* Ensure occupational safety by implementing preventive measures aimed at minimizing workplace accidents and occupational diseases, as well as protecting workers' physical integrity;
* Conduct technical visits and safety inspections across cooperative units, informing and suggesting preventive and corrective actions to responsible departments;
* Perform qualitative and quantitative assessments, where applicable, of environmental hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related);
* Develop the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PPRA) and implement the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO), per guidance from the Coordinating Physician;
* Prepare the Professional Occupational Profile (PPP);
* Prepare, train on, and issue Work Orders;
* Process employee transfers via the Join system;
* Monitor activities of the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA);
* Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, deliver lectures, and provide technical training;
* Advise the Fire Brigade;
* Control and manage third-party contractors and monitor their activities;
* Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and manage collective protective measures;
* Guarantee achievement of departmental performance indicators and update sector-specific indicators in the designated spreadsheet;
* Provide technical guidance to team members;
* Promote ESG-oriented initiatives—including environment, social responsibility, governance, occupational health and safety, and risk management—with attention also to psychosocial risks, maintaining focus on the customer through Unimed’s “Way of Caring” practices;
* Comply with and enforce Unimed Curitiba’s and other group companies’ safety and hygiene regulations to safeguard the physical integrity of employees and customers, aligned with core competencies: Cooperate to Grow, Pursue Excellence, Delight the Customer, and Manage Emotions.
