Further information is available at www.verderasolutions.com.br. **Responsibilities and Assignments** TWM Manager at Verdera, playing a key role in creating and enabling Verdera’s TWM business. Responsible for designing the operational and strategic model, structuring governance, contracts, processes, and KPIs, acting consultatively and hands-on with operations to implement, stabilize, and scale this new business front—with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and value generation. Responsible for conducting client diagnostics and developing commercial proposals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Define, implement, and sustain the corporate Total Waste Management (TWM) strategy, covering all stages of the waste lifecycle. * Ensure alignment of the TWM model with Verdera’s overall strategy. * Serve as the technical and strategic reference for industrial units, operations, projects, and corporate areas. * Develop a waste segregation management model and oversee segregation, packaging, storage, transportation, treatment, and final disposal of industrial and administrative waste. * Implement a waste classification model (hazardous and non-hazardous), complying with municipal, state, and federal environmental legislation. * Develop and implement solutions for waste reduction, reuse, co-processing, and valorization, maximizing efficiency and sustainability. * Ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, environmental licenses, and regulatory agency requirements. * Coordinate internal and external audits related to waste management and TWM contracts. * Mitigate environmental, operational, and reputational risks associated with waste management. * Manage contracts with collection, transportation, treatment, co-processing, and final disposal service providers. * Conduct technical evaluations of TWM suppliers and strategic partners, ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and competitiveness. * Lead internal and/or third-party teams involved in Verdera’s TWM business. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and benchmarking against market practices and other group operations. * Collaborate closely with SSMA, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and Sustainability departments. * Deliver training sessions and awareness campaigns on waste management, sustainable practices, and legal requirements. * Define, monitor, and report TWM KPIs—including waste generation, recycling rates, co-processing volumes, cost per ton, and environmental indicators. * Prepare managerial and executive reports for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. * Responsible for the TWM business P&L. * Lead strategic negotiations aimed at optimizing costs, improving performance, and innovating services delivered. * Responsible for conducting client diagnostics and developing technical and commercial proposals. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Desired Education: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Industrial Management, ESG, or related fields. Other Competencies and/or Qualifications: "Solid experience in industrial waste management or Total Waste Management, preferably within large-scale enterprises. Experience in complex industrial environments (cement, mining, steelmaking, energy, pulp & paper, or chemical industries). Experience managing contracts, suppliers, and outsourced operations.
