Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing various welding tasks, ensuring quality and safety, and assisting in the assembly and maintenance of metal structures. Key Highlights: 1. Perform MIG, MAG, TIG, and/or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) 2. Ensure weld quality and finish 3. Assist in the assembly and maintenance of metal structures **Work Location:** Colombo/PR **Employment Type:** CLT **Working Hours:** Business hours **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform welding services according to technical specifications and project requirements; * Carry out MIG, MAG, TIG, and/or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) as needed; * Prepare parts, equipment, and materials for welding; * Ensure weld quality and finish; * Comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations; * Assist in the assembly and maintenance of metal structures; * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education (high school education preferred); * Proven experience in the role; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings; * Welding certification is a plus; * Commitment, responsibility, and ability to work in a team. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in the metallurgical/industrial sector; * Certifications in welding processes; * Familiarity with safety regulations (NR-06, NR-12, NR-18, or NR-35). **Salary: Negotiable**
