Job Summary: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring full functionality and operational support. Key Highlights: 1. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on light air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including evaporative coolers, industrial water dispensers, and split-type air conditioners, ensuring full equipment functionality and operational support. Focus on asset reliability, operational safety, and availability, ensuring compliance with technical standards and quality requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on evaporative coolers, industrial water dispensers, and split-type air conditioning systems. * Work directly on equipment to ensure appropriate performance and thermal comfort according to operational needs. * Conduct fault diagnostics, tests, and electrical and mechanical adjustments and calibrations. * Install new equipment, including assembly, electrical interconnections, functional testing, and commissioning. * Perform vacuum procedures, refrigerant charging, and leak testing. * Prepare technical maintenance reports and record activities in the system (work orders). * Support equipment inspection routines and technical patrols. * Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce failures. * Request necessary materials, parts, and supplies for task execution. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as NR10 and NR35, and best practices in refrigeration. **Technical Requirements** * Technical education in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or related fields. * Experience with evaporative coolers, industrial water dispensers, and split-type air conditioners. * Knowledge of refrigerants (e.g., R410A, R22, R134a, etc.). * **Solid understanding of electrical control systems**, ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. * Proficiency in vacuum procedures, refrigerant charging, and basic maintenance tasks. * Basic computer skills for completing work orders. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in industrial or commercial environments. * Updated NR10 and NR35 training certifications. * Basic knowledge of automation or controls applied to air conditioning. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Behavioral Competencies** * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Focus on safety and operational discipline. * Organization and accountability. * Ability to perform under pressure. **Job Objectives** * Ensure availability and optimal performance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. * Minimize equipment failures and downtime. * Contribute to environmental quality and operational efficiency.
