Description

Job Summary: Mineral Processing Operator responsible for preparing and operating machinery and equipment, monitoring operational parameters, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Operate the mineral processing system and analyze operational parameters 2. Monitor and adjust operational parameters during mineral processing plant operations 3. Ensure maintenance and proper functioning of machines and equipment Prepare machinery, equipment, and materials for the mineral processing plant’s processing operations. Supervise all activities in the mineral processing operation according to established procedures and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate the mineral processing system, strictly adhering to all procedures; * Analyze operational parameters. * Ensure scale cleanliness, circulation areas, proper installation of conveyor belt guards and moving parts; * Verify that all equipment—including feeders, grizzlies, hoists, scrapers, aligning rollers, and crushers—is fully functional; * Monitor flotation operational parameters, as well as feed particle size distribution and pH; * Understand, monitor, and adjust operational parameters across the mineral processing plant (Grinding, Crushing, Intensive Leaching, Carbon-in-Leach [CIL], Sampling); * Inspect mineral processing machinery and equipment. * Request maintenance for machinery and equipment. * Feed all mineral processing systems. * Control ore particle size dimensions. * Monitor production capacity. * Analyze production orders. * Control raw material inflow and outflow. * Clean machinery and equipment for maintenance. * Adjust machinery and equipment as needed; * Maintain machinery and equipment in safe operating condition; * Identify bottlenecks during production. * Clean walkways and platforms; * Support other operational areas **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education. * Experience and knowledge of Plant Mineral Processing Processes—Grinding, Crushing, Intensive Leaching, Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), Sampling. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Driver’s License Category B **Additional Information** * Meals provided at the company * Company transportation * Life insurance * Health plan * Dental plan * Meal allowance * Housing assistance * Christmas basket * Childcare assistance * Occupational Risk Prevention Program (PRL) At P.A.
