Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. If you are seeking new challenges, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment, repairing defects, lubricating equipment, replacing and adjusting mechanical parts; as well as performing low-voltage electrical maintenance and general tire repair services, aiming to maintain equipment operational conditions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy mining equipment. * Conduct diagnostics of mechanical and hydraulic failures. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Complete work orders (WO), Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA), Special Work Permits (SWP), Task Risk Analysis (TRA), and proceed with equipment lockout. * Open and close work orders for unscheduled services. * Maintain up-to-date control of released and maintenance-in-progress equipment. * Perform repairs and replacement of parts. * Enter collected data into the electronic system for maintenance scheduling. * Carry out necessary maintenance on heavy equipment under your responsibility. * Support other work fronts when requested. * Perform minor maneuvers on equipment (equipment relocation, implement activation, and testing). * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance; * Driver's license category B preferred; * Availability to work on rotating shifts **Additional information** * Charter transportation * Meals provided at the company * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Life insurance * Funeral assistance * Meal allowance * Christmas basket * Childcare assistance * PPR (Profit Sharing Plan) At P.A.
