Fiscal Calculation Analyst II
We are seeking a Fiscal/Tax Analyst to join our Fiscal Calculation team within the Shared Services Center (SSC). The Fiscal Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the company’s tax compliance, performing accurate fiscal analyses and calculations—with emphasis on withheld taxes and ancillary obligations. The role will involve handling fiscal matters, staying up-to-date on regulatory changes—including the Tax Reform—and contributing to the optimization of fiscal processes and reduction of tax risks. *** Sabesp (Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo) is responsible for water supply and sewage collection and treatment across 377 municipalities in São Paulo state, serving 28 million people. **It is one of the world’s largest environmental sanitation companies and the largest in Brazil.** The Company will advance five decades in five years, expanding access to drinking water and basic sanitation for millions of people. With infrastructure designed to support and empower our teams, the Company reinforces its commitment to this transformative journey. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Analyze and calculate direct and indirect taxes, focusing on tax withholdings (IRRF, INSS, ISS, PIS/COFINS, CSLL). * Ensure compliance with ancillary obligations and all declarations required under current legislation. * Review fiscal documents (incoming invoices) to ensure correct application of tax rules. * Monitor changes in tax legislation—including topics such as the Tax Reform—assessing impacts and proposing adjustments. * Prepare analytical reports on the company’s tax burden and suggest strategies for tax optimization. * Provide technical support during tax audits, internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate documentation. * Contribute to continuous improvement of fiscal processes through implementation of efficient internal controls. * Participate in strategic fiscal-area projects—such as system integration and review of tax policies. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in the Tax/Fiscal area. * Knowledge of SAP (FI-CO module). * Solid understanding of tax rules applicable to the finance area. * Preferred: Familiarity with TaxOne. * Advanced Excel skills. **Behavioral Competencies** * Diligence regarding deadlines and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes. * Analytical ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions. * Adaptability and resilience in a changing environment. * Proactivity in pursuing continuous improvements that add business value. * Assertive communication to interact effectively with various hierarchical levels and external partners. * Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize. **Additional Information** * Health Insurance * Private Pension Plan * Meal Voucher (VR) and Food Voucher (VA) * Transportation Voucher * Christmas Basket * Birthday Day Off * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave * Daycare Assistance for Mothers and Fathers * Wellhub (Gympass) Partnership * Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) The new Sabesp is far more than a sanitation company.
