Reading and interpretation of technical drawings **Unimetal** is seeking an **Assembly Mechanic** to join its team. We are looking for a professional committed to quality, safety, and environmental preservation. Main Responsibilities: * Analyze technical drawings and specifications to execute welding and cutting; * Perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) on sheet metal and structural components; * Carry out oxy-fuel cutting, selecting appropriate electrodes and nozzles for the material; * Inspect welds, identifying defects, discontinuities, and ensuring finish quality; * Comply with safety standards, including work at height, confined space work, and environmental regulations; * Maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and equipment preservation; * Act in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) guidelines, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental protection; * Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: * Completed high school education / Technical training in Mechanics (in progress); * Practical knowledge of welding and oxy-fuel cutting; * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings; * Experience in the role; * Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection; * Proactivity, responsibility, and teamwork skills.
