The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the program complies with MEC requirements, institutional guidelines, and active learning methodologies, promoting continuous improvement in learning outcomes and academic indicators. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate the overall operation of the Medicine program, supervising academic quality, pedagogical organization, and student experience; * Manage and develop faculty and administrative teams, including recruitment, performance monitoring, workload control, and leadership development; * Supervise teaching plans and active methodologies, ensuring pedagogical alignment and ongoing updating of the program’s curriculum; * Handle regulatory and documentary management of the program, including the Pedagogical Project (PPC), meeting minutes, academic procedures, and preparation for MEC on-site evaluations; * Participate in academic and institutional bodies such as the Academic Council, Institutional Assessment Committee (CPA), and Departmental Academic Committee (NDE); * Support institutional strategies aimed at enhancing the program’s reputation, strengthening its brand, and improving perceptions among students and the broader community; * Establish external relationships with hospitals, health departments, and strategic partners to strengthen the teaching-service integration; * Support extension activities and student initiatives, such as academic leagues, congresses, and the academic center; * Monitor academic and institutional indicators, including ENADE, graduate outcomes, transfers, and credit recognition; * Ensure clear communication among the institution, students, and faculty, acting as a mediator in conflicts and ensuring adherence to institutional policies. ### **Desired Profile** The position requires a medical degree, along with postgraduate education in the educational field and a master’s or doctoral degree.
