Join our team as Logistics Manager! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Strategic Activities** * Define and implement the logistics strategy aligned with GEES S/A’s corporate planning. * Manage the logistics department budget, controlling operational costs (freight, warehousing, fleet, contracts). * Develop and monitor logistics performance indicators (KPIs), promoting continuous improvement. * Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters, logistics operators, and service providers. **Tactical Activities** * Plan and coordinate logistics operations. * Ensure on-time delivery, service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and quality standards. * Analyze routes, transportation modes, and logistics capacities to optimize performance and reduce risks. * Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Sales, Finance, and PCP departments. **Operational Activities** * Ensure proper use of logistics management systems (ERP, WMS, TMS). * Monitor physical and system-based inventories, ensuring accuracy and asset control. * Manage owned and/or third-party fleets, ensuring legal and operational compliance. **People Management** * Lead, develop, and evaluate the logistics team, promoting continuous training. * Set individual and collective goals, monitoring performance and results. * Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SSMA) regulations. **Compliance and Security** * Ensure compliance with tax, labor, environmental, and transportation legislation. * Manage operational risks, accidents, damages, and logistics losses. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Bachelor’s degree completed in: Business Administration, Production Engineering, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields. * Preferred: Postgraduate degree or MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related areas. **Experience** * Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations. * Proven experience in logistics leadership roles. * Experience in agribusiness, industry, or high-volume operations is a plus. **Technical Competencies (Hard Skills)** * Logistics planning and supply chain management. * Transportation, warehousing, and inventory control management. * Analysis of logistics indicators (OTIF, SLA, lead time, costs). * Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems. * Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. * Knowledge of transportation and tax legislation. **Behavioral Competencies (Soft Skills)** * Leadership and team development. * Strategic and systemic vision. * Decision-making and problem-solving. * Clear and assertive communication. * Negotiation ability. * Organization, results orientation, and sense of urgency. * Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Logistics cost as a percentage of revenue. * Customer service level (OTIF – On Time In Full). * Average delivery lead time. * Damage, loss, and rework rate. * Inventory accuracy. * Logistics team productivity. * Budget adherence for the department. * Accident and operational incident rate. **National Driver’s License (CNH)** * Valid Brazilian National Driver’s License, Category B. **Additional Information** * Life insurance (co-payment); * Health plan (co-payment); * Maternity basket; * CLT employment contract.
