I am part of the Talent Acquisition team and am seeking professionals located in Brazil for the **Tech Lead .NET/AWS** position, who will work on a financial-sector project. We are looking for a Tech Lead to lead the evolution of our .NET ecosystem on AWS, supporting the team daily and directly contributing to architectural and solution design decisions. We seek someone proactive, autonomous, with clear communication skills, and focused on efficiency, quality, and innovation. **Responsibilities:*** Lead technical and architectural decisions in .NET/.NET Core (C\#), with emphasis on high-performance, resilient, and scalable REST APIs. * Support and unblock the team as a technical reference: mentoring, pair programming, code reviews, and dissemination of best practices (SOLID, DDD, dependency injection). * Define engineering, quality, and security standards: unit tests (xUnit/nUnit/MSTest), test coverage, design reviews, versioning standards, and Git workflows. * Orchestrate and evolve CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (e.g., Sonar), enabling reliable continuous delivery. * Drive end-to-end observability: log, metric, and trace instrumentation; dashboard and alert creation (Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch); and incident management. * Design, provision, and operate workloads on AWS: S3, EC2, ECS (Fargate), Lambda, NLB, plus infrastructure-as-code using Terraform. * Collaborate with Product, UX, and QA teams to prioritize features, evaluate trade-offs, and design user- and business-impact-centered solutions. * Integrate and evolve existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation—including legacy environments (e.g., older SQL Server versions such as 2008\). * Promote agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and a culture of continuous learning, guiding junior and mid-level developers. * Act as guardian of architecture, quality, and observability. * Support the team in technical decision-making and solution decomposition. * Ensure applications meet customer needs with appropriate performance, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency. **Requirements for this challenge:*** Solid experience with .NET and .NET Core (C\# and ASP.NET Core) building and scaling APIs. * Proficiency in SOLID principles, DDD, and dependency injection. * Automated testing: experience with unit tests (xUnit/nUnit/MSTest) and quality best practices. * Hands-on AWS experience: S3, EC2, ECS (Fargate), NLB, and Lambda; knowledge of networking, IAM, and monitoring (CloudWatch). * Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform (modules, workspaces, pipelines). * Observability using Splunk and Grafana (logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards). * Databases: proficiency in SQL Server (modeling, query optimization, maintenance), including experience with legacy versions; knowledge of NoSQL. * Experience with messaging systems (Amazon SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ). * Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD practices. * Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban). * Clear and effective communication; proactivity and autonomy. **Nice-to-have:*** Experience working in banks and/or financial products * Knowledge of Python. * Code analysis tools (SonarQube/SonarCloud). * Experience with API Gateway, SNS, ALB, EKS/Kubernetes. * Advanced architecture and engineering practices: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), advanced SOLID, feature flags, trunk-based development, GitOps. * Experience with advanced observability (distributed tracing) and FinOps. * Collaboration with front-end (React/Angular) for end-to-end solutions. \#LI\-WC2 **Our benefits:*** Health and dental insurance; * Meal and food allowance; * Childcare assistance; * Extended parental leave; * Partnerships with gyms and health & wellness professionals via Wellhub (Gympass) TotalPass; * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PLR); * Life insurance; * Continuous learning platform (CI\&T University); * Discount club; * Free online platform dedicated to promoting physical health, mental well-being, and overall wellness; * Pregnancy and responsible parenting course; * Partnerships with online course platforms; * Language learning platform; * And many more More details about our benefits here: https://ciandt.com/br/pt\-br/carreiras At CI\&T, inclusion begins at first contact.
