Focus on results, deadlines, and quality in project management **Area:** Engineering / Sanitation **Employment Type:** PJ or CLT (per company policy) **Location:** To be determined (willingness to work on-site and travel required) **Job Description** We are seeking an **Engineer** to work as a **Contract Manager** in the sanitation sector, responsible for the technical, operational, and financial management of construction and service contracts (CAPEX and OPEX), ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, safety, and contractual requirements with concessionaires and clients. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage construction and sanitation service contracts (water and sewage); * Plan, monitor, and control the physical\-financial performance of contracts; * Ensure technical, regulatory, contractual, and occupational safety compliance; * Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams (engineers, supervisors, foremen, and third parties); * Manage relationships with concessionaires, clients, suppliers, and partners; * Prepare and monitor schedules, measurements, management reports, and KPIs; * Support preparation of budgets, technical and commercial proposals; * Manage risks, mitigating operational and contractual impacts; * Control costs, productivity, and resource optimization; * Monitor procurement processes, labor contracting, and third-party management. **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering** (or related engineering field); * **Active CREA registration**; * Proven experience in **sanitation contract management**; * Experience with CAPEX and OPEX contracts; * Experience in water and sewage network construction, household connections, and maintenance; * Knowledge of physical\-financial planning and control; * Experience leading teams and managing multiple contracts; * Proficiency in tools such as **AutoCAD, MS Project**, and budgeting systems; * Willingness to travel and work on-site. **Desirable Requirements** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Civil Construction, or related fields; * Experience with sanitation concessionaires; * Knowledge of **Power BI** for KPI analysis; * Experience with public and private contracts; * Negotiation and supplier management skills. **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and people management; * Clear and effective communication; * Strong sense of responsibility and organization; * Decision-making ability; * Focus on results, deadlines, and quality; * Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
