Job Summary: We are seeking an SMT/PTH Specialist to operate, program, and configure assembly machines, optimize processes, and ensure quality in the manufacturing of electricity meters. We are a 95-year-old company providing comprehensive technology and solutions for the electrical energy sector. \#VemSerNansen We are looking for an SMT/PTH SPECIALIST to plan and execute software testing to ensure quality and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * Operate, program, and configure SMT/PTH assembly machines and equipment, including component placement (pick-and-place) machines, reflow ovens, selective soldering equipment, and through-hole component insertion machines. * Prepare and configure equipment, adjust process parameters, calibrate, and verify machine accuracy to ensure product quality and consistency. * Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on assembled PCBs using inspection equipment, tools, and measurement instruments. * Identify and resolve SMT/PTH-related technical issues, such as component misalignment, insufficient soldering, connection failures, etc., using appropriate tools and techniques. * Perform adjustments and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime. * Collaborate with process engineers and technicians to optimize process parameters, conduct experiments, tests, and analyses aimed at improving assembly quality, productivity, and efficiency. * Train and guide SMT/PTH machine operators, sharing technical knowledge and best practices for operation and maintenance. * Participate in failure investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure product quality and reliability. * Stay updated on SMT/PTH technology trends and advancements through training, seminars, and technical events. * Comply with company-established safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring conformity with applicable regulations and procedures. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields. * Extensive experience in operating and maintaining SMT/PTH machines and equipment. * In-depth knowledge of SMT/PTH machine programming and configuration. * Familiarity with visual inspection and measurement tools and equipment used in electronic assembly. * Knowledge of electronic component soldering techniques. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly manuals. * Problem-solving and technical analysis skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with other production team members. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Flexibility to work shifts as required. * Knowledge of quality standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, among others. * **English** (mandatory).
