We are looking for an energetic and operationally excellent **FLV Leader** to be the conductor of our produce department. You will be responsible for ensuring our products are always fresh, visually appealing, and that the department operates with maximum efficiency and minimal waste. If you love the retail environment and take pride in maintaining a flawless department, this opportunity is for you! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Team Management and Leadership:** Lead, train, and motivate the FLV team, assigning tasks and ensuring excellence in daily operations (organization, display, cleaning). **Quality Control and Product Presentation:** Ensure proper **receiving and quality inspection** of products. Coordinate **restocking and merchandising** to maintain visual appeal, freshness, and correct product rotation. **Inventory and Loss Management:** Perform **strict inventory control**, monitoring expiration dates and product quality to **minimize losses (shrinkage)**. Oversee proper disposal and systematic recording of damaged goods. **Ordering and Receiving:** Prepare and submit FLV purchase orders based on past sales, seasonality, and demand forecasts. Supervise receiving, weighing, and **correct storage placement** of products in the cold room. **Food Safety and Hygiene:** Ensure the department operates in full **compliance with Food Safety and hygiene regulations**, supervising the cleaning of counters, cold rooms, and equipment. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** High school diploma required. Preferred: Technical courses or specialization in Perishables or Retail. **Experience:** Proven experience in leadership or team management roles within the **FLV department** of supermarkets, wholesale, or food retail. **Technical Knowledge:** Solid knowledge of **fruit and vegetable quality identification**, display techniques (*merchandising*), and shrinkage/loss control. **Management Skills:** Ability to manage sales targets, profit margins, and inventory control for perishable goods. **Availability:** Full availability to work, including weekends and holidays, due to the nature of retail operations.
