Focus on training, awareness, and occupational hygiene Tire Manufacturing Company is hiring: Occupational Safety Technician Prerequisites: * Completed technical education in Occupational Safety * Prior experience in this role involving legislation and regulations, risk prevention, equipment and protective measures, safety management, training and awareness, occupational hygiene, emergency response, health, and technical tools. * Knowledge and practical experience with NR-12 and Ergonomics * Familiarity with NR-17, NR-10, NR-33, NR-35, and SST management and documentation Responsibilities: * Identify and monitor internal and external requirements (legal surveillance), conduct gap analyses, and implement action plans to ensure compliance; * Define and maintain accessible site instructions derived from regulatory and Group, Zone, and Country reference requirements, ensuring control and correct application of these guidelines; * Conduct comprehensive safety risk analyses (ARM, PSG, etc.), plan mitigation of priority risks, assess required resources, define solutions, and establish timelines; * + Support site projects ensuring that: * 1\. safety specifications and requirements are defined; * 2\. the project team receives support in identifying and evaluating solutions; * 3\. approval milestones (“avis”) and commissioning are properly executed * Ensure recording and handling of safety events (accidents and near-misses), including immediate corrective actions, root cause analysis, and systematic follow-up of action plans * Ensure safety oversight of external personnel (contractors and visitors) with the same rigor applied to Michelin employees, guaranteeing that responsible managers (RMTs) are trained and actively engaged. * Promote engagement in operational safety initiatives and tools (behavioral programs, MDP, PSA, OPS, PSD, among others). * Maintain active relationships with legal authorities and safety committees, ensuring fulfillment of obligations and reliable communication of legal information. * Ensure reliability and dissemination of safety indicators. * Develop and deliver training modules, ensuring execution of the training plan. * Implement and monitor the safety control plan, including definition and tracking of corrective actions. * Share relevant safety practices and events with the corporate network, analyzing and applying best practices from other sites where appropriate.
