The professional will operate end-to-end—from optical design and hardware specification to algorithm implementation, integration with industrial systems, and laboratory and field validation. **Education:** Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead the development, validation, and optimization of computer vision algorithms (classical methods and deep learning). * Design complete computer vision system architectures (cameras, lenses, illumination, industrial hardware). * Define and structure industrial datasets, including collection, labeling, and versioning. * Integrate solutions with industrial systems (PLCs, sensors, SCADA) and protocols such as Modbus, OPC\-UA, MQTT, and REST. * Work with hybrid architectures (edge \+ cloud), ensuring performance and reliability. * Conduct laboratory testing and validation in industrial environments. * Perform technical installations, commissioning, and field stabilization. * Prepare comprehensive technical documentation (BOMs, diagrams, technical reports, and inspection reports). * Interact with clients to gather requirements and define solutions. * Support technical proposals and serve as a reference for Junior and Pleno developers. **Technical Qualifications:** **1\. Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence** * Proficiency in Python * Experience with OpenCV * Experience with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX) * Knowledge of models such as YOLO, Faster/Mask R\-CNN, SSD * Experience with OCR/OCV **2\. Optics and Hardware** * Experience selecting and configuring industrial cameras (e.g., Basler) * Knowledge of lenses (C, CS, M12\), FOV, DOF, exposure, gain, distortion, and SNR * Knowledge of industrial lighting (backlight, bar light, coaxial, ring light, diffusers, filters) * Familiarity with thermal cameras and thermal analysis * Experience with industrial PCs, NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and embedded systems **3\. Industrial Integration** * Experience with industrial protocols: Modbus, MQTT, OPC\-UA, WebSocket * Knowledge of integration with PLCs, sensors, drivers, and SCADA systems * Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS and AI/storage services)
