Position: **INDUSTRIAL PLUMBER** **Requirements** **Education:** · Completed elementary school **Professional Experience:** Knowledge of installation and maintenance of piping in Industrial Areas; Desirable knowledge of industrial fire prevention systems **Years of Experience:** Proven work experience recorded in employment record book as Pipefitter Assistant, Semi-Skilled Pipefitter, Industrial Pipefitter, or Pipefitter **Skills / Training:** Grooved (Ridged) Connections | Sprinkler Systems | Piping and Fitting Preparation | Industrial Maintenance **Duties and Responsibilities:** Perform tasks by interpreting drawings, schematics, specifications, and other information to plan operational sequences; Mark locations for piping placement, joints, and wall, masonry, and ground excavation holes using marking tools to guide system installation; excavate trenches in soil and drill holes and grooves in walls and masonry using manual or mechanical excavation tools, perform cutting using manual and mechanical equipment, pipe threading machines, and pipe bending benches to establish fluid conveyance lines; Connect piping to equipment and other installation components such as valves, pumps, water and sewage systems, using hand tools and sealing materials to complete designed installations; Locate and repair fluid leaks using appropriate techniques, tools, and materials, replacing or restoring component parts to ensure proper system operation; Isolate steam, water, compressed air, crude oil, and derivatives lines by installing blinds or blind flanges to permit isolation of specific sections; clean filters at their installed locations by removing filter screens and cleaning them with compressed air and other cleaning materials to restore normal operating conditions; Comply with Safety, Environment, and Quality procedures inherent to the position.
