Job Summary: Manage product manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets while leading and developing operational teams in a dynamic environment. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency **ABOUT THE ROLE** * Supervise SCJ’s product manufacturing at the Manaus factory, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Efficiency, Productivity, and People goals. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Deploy goals** aligned with company strategy to operational levels. Influence the development and execution of **weekly and quarterly production plans**, meeting product cost requirements (OEE, Productivity, and Scrap). * Influence the development and execution of **maintenance shutdown plans** for production lines under your responsibility, optimizing resource utilization to achieve optimal equipment and production line efficiency. * Develop **tactical plans** for production line teams under your responsibility. * **Develop Production Line Leaders**, addressing their technical or behavioral needs as required. * Analyze and resolve daily issues related to **Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Asset Inventories, Material Inventories, Efficiency, Productivity, People**, and **Organizational Climate** within your area. * **Communicate** with Production Management and **escalate** topics that hinder production order deliveries. * **Negotiate** necessary actions with support functions to achieve production objectives. * **Routine** \- Manage your area’s routine through daily and weekly meetings to monitor performance indicators (Efficiency, Productivity, Costs, Organizational Climate, Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) and activity indicators (Preventive Maintenance Plan compliance, Autonomous Maintenance Plan compliance, Process Controls, Root Cause Analysis, and Action Plans). * **Improvements** \- Lead implementation of projects in your areas, whether related to core business (investments), new products, or incremental efficiency improvements (Operational Excellence programs). * **Manage budgets** for cost centers under your responsibility, including Overtime, Maintenance, Consumables, and Contracted Services. * **Manage individual performance** of people reporting to you. * **Support feasibility studies**, defining schedules, layout changes, and implementation of new projects on production lines at the factory and/or implementation of new technologies. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING** * Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline. * Required: Fluent English. * Preferred: 3 years of experience in frontline production team leadership. Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. * Preferred: Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * Full-time, regular schedule (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); * Overtime, when necessary; * 100% on-site. **BENEFITS AND PERKS** SC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
