Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **The main challenges as an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I are:** * Act as the primary agent implementing our institutions’ pedagogical proposal, facilitating the learning process and fulfilling the entire course syllabus, the scheduled number of classes, and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge; * Appropriately use available teaching materials and encourage students to consult bibliographic resources for the subject—including books and periodicals available in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning; * Meet deadlines established in the academic calendar, as well as requests from your respective course coordinator; * Record attendance, class content, academic activity results, and other information related to curricular components in the electronic gradebook within the timeframe defined in the academic calendar; * Contribute to preparatory activities for the ENADE exam; * Guide students in their undergraduate thesis projects; * Use active methodologies and the flipped classroom model to deliver classes. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek a professional with:** * Academic qualification: **MASTER’S AND/OR DOCTORAL DEGREE;** * Mandatory undergraduate degree/specialization: **DENTISTRY;** * Knowledge and/or experience in **Periodontics, Immunology, and Microbiology;** * Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility; * Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject; * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams; * A current Lattes CV is mandatory—this is one of the elimination criteria. **Note: Your preferred assignment will be at the unit where you are hired, and your availability must remain consistent with that unit.** **Additional Information** We believe in the excellence of our teaching and therefore value graduates from our institutions in our selection processes.
