Description

An engineering company specializing in refrigeration and air conditioning is seeking a Welder in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Select appropriate materials for service execution based on technical drawings, specifications, and project guidelines. Conduct material takeoffs for welding consumables to support procurement requests and consumption control. Perform welding and tack welding on pipelines, metal structures, and general components. Carry out filling and finishing operations on metal parts via welding, including grinding, sanding, and final finishing. Execute welding processes using electric arc welding, oxy-gas welding, soft soldering, or hard soldering, depending on the required assembly, repair, or reinforcement type. Adjust and operate welding equipment, controlling valves, gas flame, and electric current according to the applicable procedure. Mark parts and structures for cutting and assembly operations. Inspect, prepare, and operate welding machines and equipment to ensure proper functionality and operational safety. Perform welding on hydraulic networks, adhering to required technical and quality standards. Assemble supports and structural frameworks for hydraulic piping systems. Position requires work in Manaus / AM. Previous experience as a Metal Structure Assembler, Welding Operator, Welding Technician, or Industrial Welder may indicate alignment with some of the activities in this role. High school diploma required.
