Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.**This role in summary** ------------------------ We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering team at Whirlpool Corporation in Manaus. This role leads strategic engineering projects focused on product and process innovation, efficiency, and quality, collaborating cross\-functionally to deliver technical solutions that improve manufacturing performance and product development. **Your responsibilities will include** -------------------------------------- * Lead the development and implementation of engineering projects, focusing on product innovation and performance; * Act as a technical reference, supporting multidisciplinary teams with specialized engineering expertise; * Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems, proposing effective and sustainable solutions; * Coordinate testing, validation, and technical evaluations of new components, products, and processes; * Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety standards; * Support the definition of technology roadmaps and continuous improvement strategies; * Collaborate with suppliers, external partners, and global teams to align technical solutions and strategy. **Minimum requirements** ------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an active CREA license and fluent English; * Proven experience in Industrial Engineering and NPI/EPI projects, including process improvement, productivity, automation, and new product industrialization; * Strong technical and project management skills, with cross\-functional coordination and experience in engineering tools and data analysis software (SAP, MES, CAD, Power BI, Minitab, etc). **Preferred skills and experiences** ------------------------------------ * Experience with Agile project management methodologies; * Knowledge or experience in Industry 4\.0 technologies and digital manufacturing; * Business acumen with strong communication and negotiation skills; * Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS); * Additional certifications or technical training in project management, quality, or digital manufacturing. **What we offer** ----------------- * Product discount through Compra Certa; * Wellhub; * Employee Support Program, providing 24\-hour assistance with legal, social, financial, social workers, and psychologists; * Daycare assistance or on\-site nursery; * Benefits such as consigned or social loans, health plan, dental plan, life insurance, and competitive private pension plans; * On\-site services: cafeteria and internal bank branch; * Shuttle buses or free parking at the company; * On\-site meals; * After 5 years with the company, eligible employees can take four weeks of paid leave; * Extended maternity/paternity leave. * Learn more at https://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/trabalhe\-conosco\-no\-brasil/ **Additional information** -------------------------- This position is located in Manaus, the largest city in Brazil's North region, where one of the country's most important economic engines is situated.
