We are seeking a Data Engineer focused on maintaining and evolving the current data pipelines for the card machine and bank account domiciliation products. You will be responsible for leading the architecture and development of scalable data pipelines and platforms—and will have full autonomy to be creative and explore unexpected paths! **Responsibilities and Duties** In this role, you will lead the architecture and development of scalable data pipelines and platforms, serving as the team’s technical reference. You will help evolve internal standards and best practices, support strategic engineering decisions, and ensure data quality, governance, security, and reliability across the entire lifecycle. You will also collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into efficient solutions and mentor less-experienced colleagues to advance the team’s technical capabilities. You will need to develop and support ETL pipelines, i.e.: a) extracting raw data from source systems; b) transforming data through processing or applying business rules; c) ingesting processed data into information repositories (Data Lake, DW); and modeling data using Fact-Dimension or Flat structures. Support data analysts and data scientists, business analysts, and PMs on strategic requests by building easily consumable data objects. Collaborate with systems teams to understand existing routines and business rules. Here, you will: * Participate in strategic architectural decisions and evolution of the data ecosystem. * Design, implement, and optimize scalable, resilient, high-performance data pipelines to support business decision-making. * Ensure efficiency and governance in Big Data environments (AWS). * Document processes, data flows, and technical solutions for future reference, ensuring knowledge sharing and preservation. * Build data pipelines capable of identifying business opportunities and enhancing member experience using internal and external data. * Guarantee data quality, consistency, versioning, and traceability (data lineage). * Organize and maintain the model development lifecycle: construction, testing, simulation, and production deployment. * Perform data collection, cleansing, and transformation of raw data into formats suitable for analysis and processing. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. * Solid experience with Databricks. * Solid experience with agile project management methodologies. * Experience optimizing ETLs and configuring clusters. * Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation. * Advanced knowledge of data modeling and data architecture concepts. * Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems related to data and technology systems. * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, as you will engage with diverse stakeholders. * Ability to quickly learn new technologies and data-related concepts. * Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with capacity to rapidly adapt to new data technologies and concepts. * Deep expertise in ingestion architectures (batch, streaming, CDC). * Experience with Git for code versioning. * Knowledge of the card machine market is a plus. **Additional Information** At the **Sicredi Administrative Center (CAS)**, for roles in business areas, we adopt a hybrid work model consisting of 3 days onsite at our headquarters located at Av.
